FINDRISC (Finnish Diabetes Risk Score) is a validated, internationally used questionnaire developed by the Finnish Diabetes Association. It predicts 10-year risk of Type 2 diabetes from lifestyle and health factors. A score of 12 or above should prompt a blood test (HbA1c or fasting glucose) from your GP. This is a screening tool only, not a diagnosis.
