HealthCalc4Me ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at healthcalc4me.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our free health calculators and related educational content.

When you use our calculators, you may enter health data such as height, weight, age, and gender. This data is processed locally in your browser and is never stored on our servers. Where an AI-powered insight is generated, your anonymised input is sent temporarily to the Anthropic API to produce a personalised response, then immediately discarded. It is never retained by us.
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics services may automatically collect your IP address (anonymised where possible), browser type and version, pages visited, time spent, referring website, and device type.

We use collected information to provide and improve the Site and calculators, understand how visitors use the Site, display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
This Site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings.
As required under Google's EU User Consent Policy, we collect your consent before placing advertising cookies if you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.3).
Several calculators generate personalised AI health insights using the Anthropic Claude API. Your anonymised data (e.g. height, weight, age) is sent to Anthropic solely to generate the insight text. This data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not store it before or after transmission.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@healthcalc4me.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We do not store any personal health data entered into calculators. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
